OKAY REPORT (AKA LOTS OF FLAIL (AND PICTURES!!!)) BEHIND THE CUT.

First, though, thank you for all of your safe trip wishes in my last post! ♥♥♥ We didn't get lost and we got to Chicago safely and on time so it was great. ♥ :)

Okay, now onto the main thing.

IT WAS FUCKING AMAZING. A;LSKDGNA;LSKDNG;ALSDG THERE IS NOT EVEN A WORD FOR JUST HOW SPECTACULAR THIS SHOW WAS.

Okay, so. K and I got to the venue place around 5:15 and there were already tons of people lined up along the like five doorways. There was the will-call door that was locked and AAT sucks at life because it emailed us saying will call was from 4-7. BUT IT WASN'T. WTF. So anyway. We were the only ones in the will-call line and we stood there lonely like until we got to meet up again with Chey (miss_jelly)! :D We met up first at Mitsuwa earlier. :D And we also met up with Rose (drphoenix). AL;SDKNGA;LSKDGNASDG AND THEY ARE BOTH ADORABLE AND SO COOL AND JUST OMG. ♥♥♥♥ YOU GUYS IT WAS SO SO AWESOME MEETING YOUUUUU. I WISH WE'D HAVE HAD MORE TIME TO HANG OUT. BUT A;LSKDNG;ALSDG ♥♥♥♥♥ :DDDD

We got in and got tickets and then got in the massive line for goods with Chey and chatted about our excitement. K had been freaking out the whole trip but I'm just more composed by nature, though really I was more freaked out about GETTING TO Chicago than letting myself freak out about the concert. BUT ONCE WE WERE THERE I HAD MY TICKETS WHICH, BTW WERE ROW A SEATS 1 AND 2 FOR THE FRONT MIDDLE BALCONY OMG, MY HEART WAS BEATING SO FAST. asldkgna;sldg So we're in line and we get sort of close and one by one the posters are covered up cuz they're sold out. Then the only thing left was T-shirts and they are awfully TINY. So I was like, meh, whatever, so K and I said bye to Chey and left to go find our seats.

We weren't sure how to get to the balcony so we asked this lady who tells us that the balcony's closed, go back to the box office and get them exchanged for the main floor.

SO OUR SEATS NOW? ROW G. HOLY FUCK WE WERE LIKE 7 ROWS OR SOMETHING FROM THE STAGE.

A;LSKDGNA;LSKDGN;ALSKDGA'JS;DLG K AND I WERE LIKE HYPERVENTILATING AT THIS POINT. XDDDD A lot of the other girls around us also had balcony seats previously. It was a little sad that the concert hadn't sold that many tickets, but honestly I was not surprised. Actually I was wondering if this would happen. AND IT DID OMFG.

The audience was small. I wasn't sure how big of one I was expecting but it wasn't very big. The main floor didn't even fill up. Probably not more than 300 people?

Jin's dancers are super cool and so fun and got the party started. They showed a few videos of Jin, some of the photo shoots for the shop photos posted here and everyone freaked out and screamed for the shoots where he was shirtless. XD They also showed that awesome b/w vid that's on the Jin Akanishi site, too. They introduced the other dancers and themselves, so everyone on stage was: Juice, John Michael, Joey Beni Tee (WHO IS SO HOT HOLY SHIT WHY IS HE 16?!), Dominic, Aubree, Lizzy and possibly someone else I don't remember. They are alllllll so freaking amazing at dancing omg. Especially Joey Tee holy crap he is amazing.

Then Juice and JM trick us by having us scream Jin's name and then pointing toward the back doors so we look and when we turn back Jin's just casually walking on the stage in that white down jacket, jeans, and sunglasses.

AND OMFG. *_____________________________*

HE IS BEAUTIFUL. LIKE. OMG. SO, SO PRETTY. Like. Photos and magazines cannot even compare to how flawless he looks. Except he is REALLY THIN like. WTF is with people thinking he's fat or anything?! Idk if he just lost weight or what but he's super thin. D:

AND HE IS SUPER AMAZING. *_____________* CHRISTMAS MORNING HOLY SHIT I LOVE THIS SONG AND THE CRAZY DANCING HE DID FOR IT WITH THE DRUMS WAS AL;SKDNGA;LSKDNG;ALSKDGJAS';LDAK SOOOOO COOL. *_____________*

I think my FAVORITE thing about the whole concert was KNOWING all of the songs! I sang along to everything and it made it so, so much more fun for me. I mean, not that it wouldn't have been fun otherwise, but unlike the LA cons which had lyrics on the screens (I think, didn't they?), we didn't get any - the venue was too small for more than just the giant main screen. But idk. In general, I just LOVE to be able to sing with the songs and a;lskdng;alsdg It was so awesome to know them and be like HOLY SHIT HE'S SINGING THIS NOW YAY. XD

Christmas Morning is an spectacular opening for this show. OMG. It just jumps right into the atmosphere that Jin's creating and they all just own the stage. His backup dancers are amaaaaaaaaazing. *_____*

Bass Go Boom was fun! With all of the C-L-A-P stuff. XD It got the audience moving a little more which was fun. WONDER was cool to watch for the PV in the background!! INP is fun to watch because of all of the "battling" between the dancers and Jin and he was really smiley and stuff for this song. Listening to him sing A PAGE, especially because he was on stage by himself for most of it if not all (I can't remember), nearly made me cry. Just knowing what the song's about and getting to see him there and just. ;_____;

Then he goes backstage and a camera followed him so we saw it on giant screen on the stage. He grabs his phone and starts texting and the screen says stuff like (I'm probably missing some of this, but.):

"u guys having fun?"

we all screamed.

"i can't hear u."

more screams.

"lol...let me tease your brains." when he was "typing" this, he started writing yout and then had to erase it and change it to an r. SO CUTE.

then of course there were a lot of screams for that. XD

then i'm pretty sure he said something like "how good are you at mathematics" and then a Q showed up and it asked us "pick a number you like." "add four." "double it." "subtract 6." then "divide by 2." then "subtract your original number."

and no matter what you would get 1. :D which i totally didn't the first time. >.>

so he did it once and people sort of got it and he goes "did you get it?" and some poeple scream. and then jin's like "lol some of you guys are slow."

;ALSKNDG;ALSDG HE IS SO CUTE.

so we all laugh and then he's like "let's try one more time." so we did it again. and this time most people were able to realize it was 1 and we all screamed it as a 1 appeared on the screen. and it like changed into a You and then he started singing a song called Oawah or One or something. I'm pretty sure I heard him say it was called Oawah though. It was a really cute and fun pop song that was received well and hopefully someone soon will get a recording of it.

After that song he did a short little MC and asked if we were having fun and stuff and said he had three new songs, one was the one we just heard and then he launched into Body Talk. Which was as;ldgkna;sldgkns;ldg a BEAUTIFUL performance, omg. *______* It's the slowest song on his setlist so it was nice to just listen to him sing and not scream the entire time. After that was Fifth Season, which I really really love. ♥ It sort of has the same feel as Body Talk but isn't as slow. And talks a lot about how there's a Fifth Season called ~Love~ or something like that. XD I really loved this song and performance. ♥

LOVEJUICE probably got the most screams when it started. XD And ugh that was a great performance to see live, wow. *_____________* Paparats was a;sldkgna;sldg amazing. You could really hear his voice without autotune and a;lskdngas So wonderful.

The world dance section was super cool at points even if it got REALLY LONG REALLY FAST. BUT I LOOOOOOOOOOVE watching Jin dance and a;lskdnga;lsdkg he is AMAZING AT IT OMG. *_____________* The rest of the dancers are unbelievable, omg. They did different types of dances and just. It was so cool. Especially Joey ;alskdn;gas.

During Hey Girl they turned the camera that was filming and showing Jin and his friends on the screen onto some of the fans in the audience which was pretty amusing, lol. I really loved this performance omg. It was so upbeat and fun and you can't help but move along even though the lyrics are so awful. XD A lot of people were really hyped up and then omg.

Then it went into Yellow Gold and a;sldknga;sd I was like YES and *________________* This is an AMAZING AMAZING PERFORMANCE. And he sounded so goooooood. Everything was great. ♥

MY MP3 was adorable. I don't even know what else. It was poppish and fun and then it went into Tipsy Love. Which was just. Wonderful. EVERYONE had at least one arm in the air and moving it back and forth and singing to the YEAH-OH parts and it really is the BEST way to end the concert.

...Idk what else to say. Most of the stuff is pretty the same as all of the fanrecordings and clips from the UTB videos. The dancing was just AMAZING. I cannot get over that. The performances were really cool and they were so IN SYNCH.

Tipsy Love and Hey Girl were the most fun imo considering how everyone seemed to get really into those songs.

AND JIN LOOKED HAPPY. SO HAPPY. I thought I was going to be in tears but I was just grinning too hard to cry. HE LOOKS AMAZING YOU GUYS. T________T HE IS AMAZING. LOL Thinking about it now makes me teary. I cannot believe I was there. a;lskdng;alskdng;lasdg

I don't know what my favorite performance was. I loved them all. He ROCKED it. EVERYTHING. Even when I could hear his voice crack he was AMAZING. I wish he'd have talked with us more, but I think he's just really uncomfortable speaking still, especially in English, WHICH HE SHOULDN'T BE because from the few moments he did speak he sounded AWESOME. Like. What accent? Seriously. But either way a;slkdnga;sldg It was amazing.

At the very end he was all like, thanks Chicago, made a peace sign as he walked toward the stage exit and then did this loser like adorable little jump backwards into the darkness and said ciao or bye or something I think and OMG SO SO CUTE HOW IS HE SO CUTE. ♥♥♥♥

I'm sorry this report is fail because I don't actually say anything about the performances but. Just. a;slkdnga;lsdg There are pictures? WHICH OMG IDK IF IT'S JUST CHICAGO BUT THEY DIDN'T EVEN CHECK OUR BAGS. WE WERE LIKE WTF. They didn't look at all! Some people around us were taking photos during the show and if they were seen, someone would come, tell them off, and that was it. I managed to get those photos (and some more, but those up there are the best and "clear" shots - the rest are all squiggly light lines) by checking where the staff were and covering the view thing with my palm after I positioned it right. XD I never got caught, lmao. YAY. :D I'm SO HAPPY I could get some photos.

Ugh a;lskdng;alsdg I don't know what else is left to say. OH! After the show, K and I raaaaaaaaaan back out to the goods because we'd heard from someone sitting next to us that they would have more afterward. I bought the photo set which has most of the same pics from the Tokyo Con photo shoot and then the hottest fucking poster EVER.

AND YEAH. It's taken me like two hours to write this post so I'm just gonna stop now. Just. AMAZING. IT WAS AMAZING. BEYOND AMAZING.

I love Jin, so much. ♥ I am so, so happy I can't even properly begin to express it. I never thought that I would EVER get the chance to see any of these boys in concert and being there, being that CLOSE. Just.
